AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SALE OF FRESH MEAT |
|
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Be it ordained by the Sanguguniang Bayan of Mamburao, Occi-
dental Mindoro that: |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION I - It shall be unlawful for nay person(s) to deal
or sell fresh meat(s) of animals not slaughtered from the Mam
burao Slaughterhouse. |
|

| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION II - It is also be unlawful for any person(s) to
buy any kind of fresh meat(s) outside the jurisdiction of the
municipality to be sold in any place within this territory. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION III - All kinds of meat(s) coming from outside the
municipality shall be confiscated and the person(s) concerned
shall be liable/ penalized unless he/she and the fresh meat(s)
being sold is secured by a meat inspector permit duly signed
by an authorized meat inspector or any person authorized by
Government Agencies accredited by the National Government and
the Slaughterhouse where the meat came from is duly authorized
to market ma\eat(s) outside their municipality/city/provincial
jurisdiction. |

SECTION IV - All branded meat coming from different re-
gistered and accredited manufacturer's or processors or excempted
from section II & III |
|

| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION V - Penalty - Any perso(s) violating the provi-
visions of this ordinance shall be upon conviction thereoof, be
punished by not more than P1,000.00 and imprisonment of not
more than (1) month and upon the discretion of the court. |

SECTION VI - All existing ordinances or part thereof
which are inconsistent with the provision of this ordinance
are hereby repealed and modified accordingly. |

|
SECTION VII - Effectivity - This ordinance shall take
effect 15 days upon approval. |
