Transportation

1.    LAND TRANSPORTATION

Tricycles are the main mode of transportation in town proper and other barangays. Means of transportation available from the town proper to the other town are buses, jeepneys and air conditioned vans. Rental services are also available.

2.    AIR TRANSPORTATION

There is an existing airport in Mamburao which is classified as secondary airport. The operation of Philippine Airlines (PAL) was affected by the economic crisis forcing the company to suspend its operation. Mamburao Airport is maintained and still managed by the Air Transportation Office (ATO) for chartered flights operation.

3.    SEA TRANSPORTATION

Businessman, investors and travelers from Manila and other provinces in the Northern and Southern part of the country can reach Mamburao and vice-versa through Roll on – Roll off (RO-RO) vessels plying from Batangas Port to Matabang Port at Abra de Ilog. Three (3) inter-land RO-RO shipping lines ferry passengers from Matabang Port of Abra de Ilog Port to Batangas City Port.
